Rain, snow mixture expected in Cincinnati area Thanksgiving weekend

Severe weather hits the country before Thanksgiving travel
Severe weather is impacting parts of the country just as millions hit the road for Thanksgiving.
Most of Greater Cincinnati can expect a mix of rain and snow throughout Thanksgiving weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Forecasters predict wintry precipitation will begin in the area Saturday afternoon, Nov. 29.
Those conditions will continue into Sunday morning, with the possibility of light snow accumulations, forecasters said. More rain and snow will be possible again Monday night, Dec. 1, into Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 2.
Those in Butler and Warren counties can expect slippery conditions and should drive and walk with caution, as a winter weather advisory was issued by the weather service. It’ll be in effect from 7 a.m. Nov. 29 to 9 a.m. Nov. 30.

Saturday, Nov. 29: A chance of snow between 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39 degrees and low around 31 degrees. Snow accumulation of less than a half-inch is possible. High chance of rain at night, possibly mixed with snow, becoming all rain after 1 a.m.
Sunday, Nov. 30: A chance of rain, mixing with snow before 10 a.m., then ending. Showers possible between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Strong winds expected. Mostly cloudy at night, with a low around 24 degrees.
Monday, Dec. 1: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34 degrees. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26 degrees. One to three inches of snow accumulation possible at night.
Tuesday, Dec. 2: Snow likely before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 30%. Mostly cloudy at night, with a low around 21 degrees.
Wednesday, Dec. 3: Partly sunny, with a high near 35 degrees. Mostly cloudy at night, with a low around 21 degrees.
