Alexander Isak scored his first Premier League goal as Liverpool secured a much-needed 2-0 win at West Ham on Sunday.
Arne Slot, whose side were sitting in the bottom half prior to the game after six league defeats in seven, dropped Mohamed Salah for the first time in a league game and the result was encouraging.
Isak swept home the opener in the 60th minute before Cody Gakpo added a second in stoppage time to finish off the game, following Lucas Paquetá’s sending off for dissent.
