Michael Strahan was left bewildered by FOX NFL Sunday co-star Terry Bradshaw’s outlandish tale about pigs before the Washington Commanders’ matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this season.
Strahan, 54, and Bradshaw, 77, share a well-known on-screen dynamic, with both serving as central figures of FOX’s NFL coverage. Lately, Strahan has found himself correcting Bradshaw for mispronouncing Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s name, while also engaging in a fiery exchange regarding Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Bradshaw, who has been part of the network since it debuted in 1994, is cherished for his traditional viewpoints along with his wandering, distinctive, and peculiar anecdotes. FOX NFL Sunday’s Week 9 preview before the showdown between the Chiefs and the Commanders proved no exception, as Bradshaw launched into an odd tale about pigs. It comes as Michael Strahan freaks out live on FOX NFL Kickoff, shouting: ‘What’s wrong with you?!’

“But the thing that I would worry about more so in Washington is, the other day I text Andy Reid, and I got a text back, and I thought it was Andy Reid, but it was some guy selling pigs,” Bradshaw recounted. “But it sounded good, I should have told y’all that, so y’all would have thought I actually talked to Andy Reid, but I didn’t really talk to Andy Reid.”
Co-host Strahan displayed a look of incredulity after listening to Bradshaw’s most recent story, with his expression entertaining FOX NFL Sunday audiences. “Bruh my pig guy always texts me back at the worst times, too,” one viewer joked.”Ya’ll must have either forgot or never knew Bradshaw was the one who introduced the world to the NFL on FOX he was the biggest name on the program and still respected in older audiences,” another said in a passionate defense of Bradshaw, who has faced calls to retire recently.

“Bradshaw is an American treasure. Old school footballer. He gets a pass,” a third tweeted. “Listened 10 times and still can’t figure out what he trying to say lmao,” a fourth responded.
Bradshaw has already made his retirement timeline crystal clear. The former four-time Super Bowl champion has indicated he plans to step away from broadcasting after the 2029 Super Bowl, which coincides with his 80th birthday.
The ex-NFL legend revealed his intentions during FOX’s broadcast of last season’s championship game in New Orleans, featuring the Chiefs versus the Philadelphia Eagles. “I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there… I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76,'” he revealed at Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.

He continued: “I said, ‘If we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. That’s… I think that’s time’. 80 years old, that’s pushing it!”.
Bradshaw has also built a diverse portfolio of business interests that have helped accumulate his substantial wealth. His net worth is estimated to be approximately $30 million.
His media visibility has been boosted by a constant flow of endorsements, commercial spots, and public speaking gigs, all leveraging the lasting appeal of his personal brand. Bradshaw is a big fan of horses, owns a bourbon company, and even has a family cookbook to his name.
It comes after Travis Kelce gave a 10-word explanation for refusing to sign an autograph for a young Chiefs fan.
