WBB Preview – Hawkeyes Host RV Fairfield

Radio: Games air on the Hawkeye Radio Network with Rob Brooks (play-by-play) and Kathryn Reynolds (color) on the call. The network includes more than 40 stations that blanket the state of Iowa and include portions of Illinois, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. » Kaety L’Amoreaux was named the MAAC Player of the Week after averaging 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in an impressive showing at the WBCA Challenge on Nov. 17, 2025. L’Amoreaux led the Stags in their win over the preseason favorites in the American Athletic Conference, South Florida as she neared a career-high with 28 points while also finishing with a team-high six assists.
» Meghan Andersen was named one of five players for the Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week award on Nov. 11, 2025. Andersen’s 32.5 scoring average led the entire nation during the season’s opening week and was highlighted by a career-high 35-point explosion in the win over Villanova earlier this season.
» Fairfield has beaten Villanova, Lehigh, South Florida, and New Haven this season.
