CLEVELAND, Ohio — It will be up to Myles Garrett and the defense to get rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders his second win by keeping San Francisco’s quarterback, Brock Purdy, off balance.
The 49ers are 8-4, but they have some chinks in their armor on both sides of the ball. For instance, Purdy had three interceptions and only one touchdown pass against the Carolina Panthers last week.
The 49ers defense is still formidable, but has given up over twenty points in each of their four losses.
The last time these two teams squared off was in 2023, the Browns won when the 49ers missed a last-second field goal. The Browns are 4.5 point underdogs. The weather will be an equalizer for the home team. The Browns win, 21-20.
