UPDATE: Williams has returned to the game.
UPDATE: Williams is officially questionable to return with an ankle injury.
According to Adam Grosbard of the LA Daily News, Williams was getting his right leg looked at on the sideline by trainers and has headed to the locker room early before the first half ends.
“Rams RB Kyren Williams is headed to the locker room two minutes before halftime. He took himself out after the last carry and Rams trainers were looking at his right leg,” Grosbard wrote.
A trip to the locker room is usually bad news, but it’s possible Williams is just getting a head start to get more time in the back to get treatment.
