Titans vs Jaguars brawl breaks out, resulting in 4 flags, 1 ejection

The frustrations of a 1-11 season boiled over in the fourth quarter of the Tennessee Titans battle against the rival Jacksonville Jaguars when a brawl broke out between the Titans’ punt return unit and the Jaguars’ punt unit and resulted in the ejection of Titans safety Mike Brown.
Four personal fouls were assessed, two on each team, stemming from an incident that began when Titans running back Julius Chestnut was flagged for unnecessary roughness on a block that continued after the whistle. Chestnut and the rest of the Titans’ return unit converged around a couple of Jaguars, including punter Logan Cooke, resulting in several flags and Brown’s ejection. Cooke and Jaguars long snapper Ross Matscik were also penalized. The four personal fouls offset.
This wasn’t the first fracas of the day. Defensive end Arden Key was penalized for unnecessary roughness just before halftime for jawing on the Jacksonville sideline, though that penalty was declined.
At the time of the penalty, the Titans trailed 25-3 early in the fourth quarter.
