Pittsburgh weather could affect Bills-Steelers betting odds

Rain and wind could complicate the Bills-Steelers matchup Nov. 30 in Pittsburgh, with gusts up to 28 mph and temps in the low 40s.

In a game with major playoff implications, the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers will face off under cloudy skies with a chance of rain on Nov. 30.  

The 7-4 Bills and 6-5 Steelers continue the fight for their playoff lives this week, and weather could play a role, with temperatures barely escaping the 40s and a strong chance of precipitation.  

Pittsburgh weather for Bills vs Steelers game 

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh predicts rain is likely Sunday, with a 50% chance of precipitation. The high temperature is expected to only climb to 45, meaning it could be a cool, wet day on the natural grass of Acrisure Stadium.  

The AccuWeather afternoon forecast expects just .02 inches of rain, but wind gusts up to 31 mph. The probability of precipitation during the afternoon hours is 59%.

Quite a few games on the NFL slate this week are being marked for at least minor impacts due to weather conditions. RotoGrinders flagged the Bills and Steelers matchup in its weather report due to its possibility of rain showers and sustained 10 mph winds, but said he’s not overly concerned. Rotowire and Covers both noted the likelihood of rain for the matchup, which will be played in the late afternoon slot and therefore partially at night. 

The Bills are favored over Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers by 4.5 points despite playing on the road. The over/under is set at 46.5 points.  

  • The Steelers lead the all-time series, 17-13, but the Bills have won four of the last five matchups, including the most recent game – a 31-17 Wild Card win in January 2024. Quarterback Josh Allen completed 21 of 30 passes and threw for three touchdowns in that one.  
  • The Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers will play Sunday, Nov. 30 at 4:25 p.m. at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The game will air on CBS affiliates, including WROC Channel 8 in Rochester. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will call the game with sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.
