CHARGERS (-9.5) over Raiders

The Raiders stink.

All the hope that flowed through Sin City following Tom Brady’s addition to the ownership group has evaporated as this team has provided more brutal losses than the Blackjack dealers consistently drawing a face card.

Geno Smith has been absolutely horrid, Pete Carroll is probably questioning his life choices, and this team couldn’t even beat Shedeur Sanders last week.

They now get a rested Chargers team off a bye that needs a win to maintain pace in the crowded AFC playoff picture.

The Raiders have lost their last two games by an average of 15.5 points, and lost, 20-9, to the Chargers at home this year.

This one shouldn’t be close.

Expect Justin Herbert and Los Angeles to cruise to an easy win as the Raiders’ misery continues.

Giants (+7.5) over PATRIOTS

The Giants have some factors working in their favor to keep this game close against the biggest surprise in the NFL.

They have played three playoff contenders close in recent weeks, losing by no more than seven to the Bears, Packers, and Lions in any of the games.

The offense has also been competent regardless of whether Jameis Winston or Jaxson Dart is under center.

Betting on the NFL?

The Patriots enter this game one week away from their bye, and offensive lineman Will Campbell is set to miss the game with an MCL sprain.

New England had some blowouts against the true dregs of the league, but they otherwise play close games.

The Giants are a bad team, but their talent level is better than the record. Be thankful for the hook with this contest.

2025 record: 6-16-2

Last week: 0-1-1; Lions (L); Jaguars (Push)
