Last week, Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley confessed that she thought I’m a Celeb host Ant McPartlin was “very juicy” while sitting around the campfire. While confirming that she is in a happy relationship, her fiance has now broken his silence over the saucy confession.
The actress admitted to her campmates last week that she was a “red-blooded woman” and claimed that Ant would “give you a nice night”. When asked who she preferred out of the presenting duo, Lisa replied: “Ant is way tastier, oh god Ant is juicy.”
While the 49-year-old was bold in admitting her crush, her partner Al has been left unconcerned as he insists that Lisa only has eyes for him. The couple have been together for 11 years after they started dating in 2014.
After touching down in Australia, Al has opened up about the “juicy” comment, saying: “There is no business like show business, right? It’s all good. I have no fears of her letting me go.” Lisa and Al, who is a musician, have been engaged since 2018, but Lisa has previously said it is unlikely they will get married.

Al also confessed that he is excited to catch up with his fiance when they finally meet at the end of the famous jungle bridge. However, he does hope that this isn’t too soon.
He said: “I am very proud of her, it’s a big surprise. I am looking forward to meeting up with her again, hopefully not the first one out. Hopefully at the end.”
The Mandy Dingle actress had her campmates in fits of giggles last week when she admitted: “Dec would look after you, Dec would tuck you in at night…Ant would give you…a nice night.”
She also said in the Bush Telegraph: “I’m a red blooded 49-year-old woman and yes I do think Ant McPartlin is very juicy.”
After making her ‘longing’ for Ant clear, she added: “You can go to Chanel you don’t have to buy anything, you can look. I am very very happily settled relationship lady with my Al, but I can still have a look.”
Despite this, before heading into the Jungle, Lisa was glowing when she talked about her fiance of seven years. She revealed that he had been teasing her ahead of her trip Down Under.
She said: “The very last thing he said was: ‘Just be you.’ But then the other thing he did say, when I was on my own, was, ‘good God, you are going to be having a lot of beans’.
“Think Celia Imrie (in Traitors) and you will put two and two together. People are going to be very privy to my gas. But it is the girl he loves and I love him.”
She also confessed before taking on jungle life that she wasn’t fussed about viewers seeing her on national TV with no make-up on and humidity-frazzled hair.
She said: “I love looking raw on TV….look at me in Three Girls or Waterloo Road. I am not a vain actress. And if anything, I am the other way.
“So when people are like, ‘Oh my God, you are not going to have any fake lashes on,’and my hair is going to look like a frizz bomb, I don’t care.
“People will see that I am going to look like an absolute minger, and I will embrace that, because that is the truth of it.”
