Tom Read Wilson is most recognised for his role on Channel 4’s popular dating programme Celebs Go Dating, which he joined in 2016.
The 39-year-old television personality initially started as the show’s receptionist, welcoming celebrity participants as they arrived at the dating agency.
His career progressed when he was promoted to junior client coordinator in 2018, before securing another promotion to senior client coordinator in 2022. His charisma and bubbly personality captivated audiences nationwide.
The star has recently entered the latest series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here as a late contestant alongside Vogue Williams. The pair joined fellow campmates including internet personality Angry Ginge, acclaimed rapper Aitch, and Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley.

During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, Anna confirmed: “It’s probably the most common question everybody says, does he really talk like that? I can now clarify, absolutely, Tom Read Wilson speaks like that.”
She suggested to the daytime TV host that his background in musical theatre may have contributed to his melodic voice, but assured viewers that his personality is entirely genuine.
Anna continued: “Tom is our life coach, Tom is one of the most stoic, most sage… he’s a wonderful, wonderful guy. Honestly, I hate the phrase what you see is what you get, but he’s the kindest guy, in this industry as well, to meet someone that is so unapologetically himself, he is so kind, everyone loves Tom.”

However, he has expressed a desire to become a father in the future. Speaking to OK! , he said: “If someone came into my life, it would be a beloved addition. Most days I feel like a moist madeira sponge that doesn’t really require icing.
“But if there were icing, it wouldn’t go amiss. I’m so lucky I’ve got three godchildren, three nephews… but what I really crave is to have my own children one day.”
