As Demi Moore told USA TODAY ahead of the premiere, “Landman” Season 2 “gets juicy.”
Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, “Landman” depicts a “modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs,” according to the series synopsis.
“As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’ (Billy Bob Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes,” this season’s synopsis said.
As Norris faces “mounting pressure” from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore) and “the shadow of his kin,” his “survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break,” the synopsis reads.
‘Landman’: Stream on Paramount+
The Taylor Sheridan oil drama premiered Nov. 16, to record-breaking numbers, setting viewership records with over 9.2 million streaming views for its first episode in the first two days, Paramount+ said in a news release.
“Views increased by +262% from the first season premiere, making it the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+,” the streamer said.

Will a new episode of ‘Landman’ Season 2 come out this week?
Yes. Thanksgiving will not impact “Landman” and Episode 3 of the series will release on Sunday, Nov. 30, at midnight ET / Saturday, Nov. 29, at 9 p.m. PT on Paramount+.
How to watch ‘Landman’ Season 2
Season 2 of ‘Landman’ Season 2, which premiered on Nov. 16, is available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ with new episodes dropping weekly at midnight ET on Sundays.
Season 1 of the series is also available to stream on Paramount+.
