PITTSBURGH — After grabbing at his right hip, Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Patrick Queen signaled to his team’s sideline and dropped to the ground during the second quarter of Sunday evening’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
Queen eventually got up and walked to the sideline beside trainers under his own power, albeit with a noticeable limp. He entered the blue medical tent on the sideline for a few minutes before exiting and doing high knees. He then walked to the Steelers’ locker room.
Queen was listed as questionable before being downgraded to out.

One play before, Queen hit Bills quarterback Josh Allen as he slid to the ground to give himself up. Allen escaped Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt to scamper for the 1-yard gain.
As of the play Queen left the game, he had six tackles — two of which were solo efforts — and a quarterback hit. Fellow inside linebacker Payton Wilson had seven stops. Malik Harrison replaced Queen for the next down and Wilson took green dot duties for the time being.
Queen had 83 tackles entering the matchup, including 33 by himself. He also had a sack and four quarterback hits. Last year, Queen earned a Pro Bowl nod after posting 129 tackles and a sack.
The Steelers led 7-0 late into the second frame.
