Commanders See Key Injury Progress from Terry McLaurin, Noah Brown

Washington Commanders fans have reasons to be thankful as key offensive players Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown were listed as full participants during Thursday’s practice.
McLaurin (quad) and Brown (groin/knee) were limited participants on Wednesday, but they appear to be making progress heading into Week 13.
McLaurin first injured his quad in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders and tweaked it again in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs while making a sideline catch. Brown suffered a groin injury in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers and was subsequently placed on injured reserve in October.

Though the Commanders sit at 3-8 this season, they still have the opportunity to shake things up in the NFC East for the rest of the year. They’ll take on the Giants, Eagles and Cowboys in the span of nine days in December.
So far this season, McLaurin has 13 receptions for 203 yards and one touchdown and Brown has three receptions for 36 yards. They could return in time to face the Denver Broncos, who have been exceptional on defense this season.
Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. (illness), long-snapper Tyler Ott (illness) and wide receiver Chris Moore (shoulder) were also limited or not participants on Wednesday but did practice on Thursday.
Where there’s good news, there is some not-so-good news for the team. Wide receiver Treylon Burks, quarterback Jayden Daniels, defensive end Drake Jackson, wide receiver Jaylin Lane and linebacker Frankie Luvu all remain limited participants and questionable for Sunday’s matchup.
On the Broncos side, only offensive linebacker Jonah Elliss (hamstring) was a limited participant and tight end Nate Adkins (knee) did not participate.
