Young woman mauled to death by dog in WA town

A woman has died following a vicious dog attack in a remote Kimberley town.
Police say officers responded to reports of a dog attack in Fitzroy Crossing, about 400km east of Broome, about 12pm on Sunday.
Upon arrival at the scene, police found a woman in her 20s, deceased.
A man in his 20s was also injured during the attack, which is understood to have involved two dogs.
The man was taken to Fitzroy Crossing Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
It remains unclear where exactly the incident unfolded.
Derby-West Kimberley shire rangers assisted with removing the two dogs.
Inquiries remain ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
