Did Samantha tease her wedding plans months ago? Old reel resurfaces after marriage to Raj Nidimoru

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, confirming weeks of speculation about their relationship. The couple tied the knot on Monday, with Samantha announcing the news through a series of wedding photographs on Instagram, captioned simply, “01.12.2025.”
Samantha, known for her performances in Rangasthalam, Super Deluxe and The Family Man 2, wore a maroon embroidered sari paired with gold jewellery for the ceremony. Raj, celebrated for directing Go Goa Gone and A Gentleman, chose a white kurta with a rose-gold sleeveless blazer.
The two had been spotted together at several events in recent months, though they never publicly acknowledged their relationship.

A hint hidden in an old reel?
Interestingly, fans now claim Samantha had subtly hinted at her relationship—and possibly her marriage—months before the announcement. Back in September, during her Dubai trip, the actor posted a short Instagram reel titled “Dubai for a minute.”
The video showed snippets from her vacation, but one frame caught everyone’s attention: Samantha briefly holding hands with a man wearing a black jacket and jeans. At the time, fans speculated the man could be Raj Nidimoru. However, it remains unclear whether it is Raj Nidimoru or not.
As per reports, the two got married at Isha Foundation’s Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
For the unaware, Samantha is believed to have first met Raj during the shoot of the Amazon Prime Video series, “The Family Man 2”, in which she played a powerful role.
The two once again joined hands for the web show, “Citadel: Honey Bunny”, co-starring Varun Dhawan.
The rumours of Samantha and Raj being in a relationship began to circulate as the two were seen together at various events.
Earlier this year, Samantha dropped a post about her first step into the world of sports. The photos posted on her IG also included Raj.
Another post by Samantha talked about new beginnings. Uploading a string of photos which also had Raj, she mentioned, “It’s been a long road, but here we are, New beginnings @tralalamovingpictures. (sic).”
Samantha was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The two wed in 2017 and announced their separation in 2021. Raj was previously married to Shhyamali De, whom he divorced in 2022.
The newly married couple continues to receive warm wishes from fans and colleagues across the film industry.
