Kneecap play at Electric Picnic
The Electric Picnic countdown has officially started as the first nine acts have been announced today for the 2026 festival in Stradbally Estate.
The festival announced Gorillaz for the top slot and Ireland’s very own Fontaines D.C will take the Sunday night headline slot.
And the iconic lineup continues with Irish star CMAT joining the headliners, along with the following acts: Sombr, Zara Larsson, Skepta, Wunderhorse, Role Model and Geese.
Electric Picnic will take place from August 28 to August next year and tickets sold out within 90 minutes of going on sale.
The 600 acres of rolling fields at Stradbally Estate will provide the perfect backdrop for the end of summer extravaganza as picnic fan favourites return with Trailer Park, Croí, Salty Dog, Providencia, Fish Town and much more.

The 2025 festival saw 80,000 festival-goers descend on the site for iconic headliners, such as Hozier, Chappell Roan and Kings of Leon.
Another standout moment for Irish music was Dermot Kennedy and Noel and Mike Hogan of The Cranberries performing the band’s iconic songs with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
