Kelly Osbourne admitted she is ‘so sad’ after her brother Jack was the only I’m A Celebrity campmate to not receive a letter from home on the Ant and Dec programme
Reality TV star Jack, who previously put himself through intense challenges on Adrenaline Junkie, has proven to be one of the strongest contestants on the ITV reality show. Jack headed to Australia just four months after the passing of his rock icon father Ozzy.
Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday, July 22, just weeks after a Black Sabbath reunion concert held in his home city of Birmingham. The music icon, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, was ‘with his family and surrounded by love’ at the time of his passing.
Jack has already been seen discussing the death of his father on several occasions in the Australian jungle. The 40-year-old broke down in tears to Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, comedian Eddie Kadi and Manchester streamer Angry Ginge when talking about his dad.
“It was definitely a shock. I mean, we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock. I mean, we didn’t know it would be that quick. It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, alright I’m done,” Jack told Lisa.
On Sunday night (November 30), I’m A Celebrity viewers saw the stars trying to win messages from their loves ones in a game called Blender Defenders. In order to secure the messages from home, the famous faces had to answer various questions about their campmates.
Sadly, EastEnders star Martin Kemp, Manchester rapper Aitch and Irish presenter Vogue Williams failed to answer what age Jack was when he began filming for The Osbournes. The trio were left helpless as the letter was shredded in a blender in front of their eyes.
To make matters even worse, Jack was the only one of the 11 remaining contestants, prior to Eddie being eliminated, not to receive their letter. The dad-of-four put on a brave face as everyone else got to get a taste into what’s going on at home while they’re competing on the programme.
Remaining composed about not getting to read the letter, Jack said: “In this experience, you kind of have to hang up emotion. I’d rather just be in this, suck it up, fight it.” Following the episode’s broadcast, Kelly took to Instagram to have her say about her brother being left out of the emotional segment.

The 41-year-old stated: “I just want to say thank you to everyone who voted to keep Jack in the jungle, he’s doing really well. He’s doing so well. I’m so sad he didn’t get his letter from the family.”
Another thing which left Kelly annoyed was Eddie’s elimination, with the comedian comforting Jack earlier in the series about Ozzy. Kelly stated: “But he took it really, really well. But I’m even more sad Eddie’s left the jungle cause I loved Eddie. This sucks!”
Kelly made headlines earlier in the series when she claimed Kelly Brook was ‘really annoying’ after the Loose Women presenter clashed with Jack over cooking duties in the jungle. She said: “I’m so sorry Jack, if I’m coming at you and if I’m cutting potatoes wrong, but honestly, it’s only coming from a place where I just want to help.”
