Estimated 24 hour snow totals, as of 4:18pm 11/29/2025(wpta)

From Saturday through Sunday night, snow totals will generally be around 6″ or more for places along US 24, including Fort Wayne. This is a slight increase from Saturday mornings forecast, which had Huntertown in the 6-8″+ range, but not Fort Wayne.

North of US 24, snow totals of 6-8″ or more is more likely, with 10″ of snow possible around South Bend. South of US 24 to about US 224, snow totals will range from 4-6″, and 2-4″ for many south of US 224, but this is an area where there is some uncertainty because some slightly warmer air, as well as elevated drier air, will briefly change some of the snow over to rain, as well as break up some of the precipitation. Also, how this weather system moves will change who sees how much snow.
