The Syracuse-born Toosii played his high school football at Rolesville High School in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Toosii is known for his songs Favorite Song, Love Hurts and Love Is.
He had teased on X in August that he was on this journey, posting visuals of him catching passes at North Carolina State’s practice video.
Now, Toosii will join head coach Fran Brown at Syracuse. The Orange just concluded this season at 3-9 in Brown’s second campaign, which was crushed early on when star quarterback Steve Angeli tore his Achilles.
Angeli will be back next season. And he’ll have a rapper in the locker room with him.
