‘Do not eat’: Aldi pulls chocolate snack from shelves over peanut fears

Aldi has removed a chocolate snack from its shelves and issued a “do not eat” warning amid concerns it contains undisclosed peanuts.
The supermarket, issuing a recall notice via the Food Standards Agency, urged customers not to eat its Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks.
The product contains peanuts which is not mentioned on the label, presenting a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy.
The recall notice affects all pack sizes of 90g.
Customers who have purchased the affected snacks and have an allergy or intolerance to peanuts are asked to return it to any Aldi store for a full refund.
