I’m a Celebrity fans left in disbelief over second elimination

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! spoilers follow.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has aired the second elimination of 2025, leaving viewers in disbelief. Tonight’s show revealed the results of the public vote with comedian Eddie Kadi becoming the latest campmate to exit the jungle.

After receiving a warm send-off from the others, Eddie sat down with hosts Ant and Dec to reflect on his 16 days on the show. Describing the experience as “an incredible time”, he explained that he was feeling a mix of “happy and sad”.

“I feel like I’ve been there for a year, honestly. It’s literally changed my life,” he shared. “Coming from Congo, we have a massive rainforest which I’ve never visited but I feel like I’ve had a taste of how my great grandparents and my grandparents would’ve grown up.

“And now it explains why they were so humble, they just handled the bare minimum, made the best out of life and were joyful regardless of any situation,” he continued.

The star went on to address his bond with campmate Jack Osbourne, who he instantly connected with. He explained that he was impressed by Jack’s survival skills and vast knowledge, and wants him to win the show.

Though Eddie seemed relieved to return to civilisation, fans were not happy with his elimination, and shared their anger online.

“I have never been more disappointed in the public till now, what do you mean Eddie is second out?” one wrote on Twitter/X, with another echoing: “NOBODY TALK TO ME. THE BRITISH PUBLIC WHAT ARE YOU DOING? EDDIE!?!?”

“Ay up how the f**k has Eddie left second , I’m genuinely thinking this is a miscount this guy’s brilliant wtf,” questioned a third, while a fourth added: “They’re going to miss Eddie in there x he brings so much light and laughter x what a great fun guy.”

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, the celebrities all competed to win each other’s letters from home in a challenge titled ‘Blender Defenders’. The task saw them answering questions about their fellow campmates, avoiding the answers that would cause the letters to be destroyed in a blender.

Almost all of the celebrities received their heartfelt messages from their loved ones, except Jack – as Vogue Williams, Martin Kemp and Eddie were unable to win his.

Jack tried to reassure the others that he didn’t want the letter anyway, as he wanted to stay focused on the camp experience, though it was clear that he was gutted to miss out.

I’m a Celebrity… airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
