Barbra Streisand slammed over ‘servants’ as she shares Thanksgiving pic from lavish home

Barbra Streisand is facing criticism after posting a Thanksgiving photo that showed several “servants” working in the background of a rustic home.

On November 29, Streisand, 83, shared a Thanksgiving-themed post on Instagram showing her stepdaughter, Molly, smiling while children sitting at a table in front of them were drawing and making necklaces.

In the background, at least four staffers can be seen working in the dining area. This follows the actress’s warning that America is ‘in deep trouble.’

“Me and my stepdaughter Molly on Thanksgiving, enjoying all the children drawing and trying to make little necklaces!” Streisand captioned the post.

Fans took to the comment section of the post, calling out the amount of staffers in the background.

The actress often references her humble roots. In a 2010 NPR interview, she described growing up in a small Brooklyn apartment where she shared a bed with her mother, and her brother slept on a rollaway bed.

“I sure didn’t grow up in a house,” she said. “I don’t have a mansion now.”

Her current home in Malibu, which she detailed in her 2010 book My Passion for Design, is valued at just under $20 million.
