Man, 22, stabbed to death in broad daylight on major North London street

A 22-year-old man has died after being stabbed earlier today (Monday, December 1). Cops raced to High Road, Wembley, to reports of the stabbing at about 12.55pm.
There they found the 22-year-old man who was rushed to A&E, but he later died. There have been no arrests.
The victim has not yet been named or pictured. High Road remains closed while police gather clues. The following nine London buses are on diversion: 18, 79, 83, 92, 182, 204, 223, 297, and 483.
Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams, who leads policing for the area said: “My thoughts are with the victim’s loved ones at this unimaginably difficult time.
“Knife crime has a devastating impact on communities and our officers are here to support local residents with any concerns. Residents can expect to see an increased police presence over the next few days.
“In the meantime, our dedicated officers are working at speed to piece together this tragic incident. Anyone with relevant information should not hesitate to share it with us.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.55pm today (December 1) to reports of a stabbing on High Road, Wembley.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
