Indiana native on ‘Jeopardy!’ winning streak, climbing all-time wins leaderboard

(WTHR) – An Indiana man is climbing the ranks of the winningest ‘Jeopardy!’ players of all time.
27-year-old Harrison Whitaker has earned his “super-champion” status after his 10th win on the game show on Monday, November 24, becoming one of just 19 players to ever earn the distinction.
However, the wins didn’t stop there…
The Terre Haute native has gone on to win four more games since then, securing wins through Thanksgiving week, and bringing his streak to 14.
Whitaker’s win on Thanksgiving tied him for 13th place on the all-time wins leaderboard.
He is now one win behind a fellow Hoosier, Purdue archivist Adriana Harmeyer, who won $351,600 during her 16-game run on the show last year, winning 15 straight games.
Whitaker has won $373,999 over his time on the game show so far.
He will take to the ‘Jeopardy!’ stage once again on Monday, December 1’s episode.
