WORCESTER, Mass. – In the spirit of giving, a local restaurant is making sure families have a meal for the holiday by teaming up with some New England Patriots.
2 Chefs in Worcester hosted a turkey giveaway on Tuesday.
The Patriots donated 100, 20lbs turkeys for the event.
Coming off a win on Sunday, WR Kyle Williams and RB Terrell Jennings joined members of the restaurant in distributing turkeys to families in need.
“Take a little break from football give back to the community,” Williams said, “interact with families and give that little hospitable smile and let them know were here we love you guys and I love it.”
“I was once in there shoes looking to get turkeys,” Jennings said, “so I mean it means a lot going out in the community and doing it ourselves it’s nice to do something human and give turkeys.”
