Bemidji State loses high-scoring game to Florida Southern

LAKELAND, Fla. — Despite three players with 20 points, the Bemidji State men’s basketball team couldn’t stop Florida Southern on Saturday.
Bemidji State split the Thanksgiving Classic in Lakeland, Florida, with a 99-92 loss to Florida Southern.
Three players scored over 20 points: John Pecarich with 25, Henry Shannon III with 24 and Austin Josephson with 20. Pecarich was 6-for-10 from over the arc, a team high.
Josephson earned a double-double with his 14 rebounds, which led the Beavers. Isaac Severts was right behind, picking up 11 rebounds.
