Tyler Toffoli’s wife Cat recaps Sharks thanksgiving get-together ft. Will Smith’s chocolate chip banana bread and more

This past week, San Jose Sharks alternate captain Tyler Toffoli and his wife Cat hosted a festive Thanksgiving gathering that brought together teammates, their families and members of the Sharks organization.
On Sunday, Cat Toffoli shared a recap of the celebration in an Instagram reel featuring glimpses of the day’s warm family-centered event.
“✨a little Sharks Thanksgiving magic ✨,” Cat captioned the post.
The video showed the Sharks captain preparing for the gathering, arranging chairs and tables outdoors and setting up a long indoor table to accommodate all guests. Cat showed off the turkey being grilled as well as a look at the food spread of mushrooms, vegetables and other traditional dishes. The reel captured players and their partners helping serve food, Ryan Reaves slicing the turkey and sharing in the holiday meal together.
Another memorable moment featured teammate Will Smith proudly showing an empty container with crumbs of his homemade banana chocolate bread which was devoured by all in attendance per one of Cat’s previous weekend stories.
“@_willsmith2’s chocolate chip banana bread was legit the first thing gone,” she wrote.
Younger Sharks players were seen enjoying board games at the tables while veterans and families mingled. Toffoli was seen at the far end of an almost empty table, still enjoying food from his plate, smiling as Cat filmed him. The families later gathered together outdoors for a group photo.
Collin Graf was excited for try ‘turduckin’ at Cat and Tyler Toffoli’s Thanksgiving party
San Jose Sharks forward Collin Graf expressed excitement about trying a turduckin, which is a layered poultry dish combining turkey, duck and chicken, at teammates Tyler and Cat Toffoli’s Thanksgiving gathering.
The turduckin was reportedly to be carved by Sharks veteran Ryan Reaves and Graf admitted he had never tried one before.
“I’ve never had one. I’ve only seen it on football. That’s the only time I’ve ever seen it,” Graf said. “I don’t exactly know what it is. I mean, I know it’s turkey, duck, and chicken, but I’ll try it, hopefully it tastes good.”
For many of the young Sharks players, celebrating Thanksgiving away from home is a new experience. Speaking of that, Graf said:
“It’s different. You get older, it just changes, right? You get a little older. I think it just makes those times with your family as a kid just more special.” [H/T sharkshockeydigest]
Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky and his family hosted the rest of the coaching staff for a separate traditional Thanksgiving meal.
