Angel ornaments and figurines are used to decorate the Christmas Tree and Neapolitan Baroque Crche are on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, December 1, 2025 in New York City. The Met continued a longstanding holiday tradition with the presentation of its Christmas tree. The magnificently lit, twenty-foot blue spruce looms over a vivid eighteenth-century Neapolitan Nativity scene, surrounded by an abundant array of lifelike figures with silk-robed angels hovering above.
