FORECAST
Here’s WAVE News meteorologist Ryan Hoke with your forecast.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Rain, sleet, and snow will become all snow overnight. Untreated roads will be slick and snow-covered, especially after midnight. Most will see between 2-4″ of snow, with totals tapering to less than an inch south of the KY Parkways.
Snow exits the area by sunrise tomorrow, but the ALERT DAY will continue as travel issues linger due to the overnight snow.
It will be cloudy and cold on Tuesday; most areas look to stay below freezing all day. Clouds clear somewhat Tuesday night, allowing temperatures to plummet into the teens and low 20s.
Black ice can develop on any wet and untreated roads that refreeze into Wednesday morning. Cold Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the 30s.
An Arctic front moves in late Wednesday night with a round of light snow and flurries. Additional light snow chances come back into play by Sunday.
Welcome to December!
