SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – One person is in critical condition after a shooting in north Springfield Saturday night.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Commercial Street around 10 p.m. Saturday to reports of shots fired.

They found one person with a gunshot wound. They were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The suspect was arrested after a brief investigation. Police say there is no threat to the public.
