Several school districts in Maryland delayed the start of classes Tuesday morning because of the wintry weather and potentially slick roads.
There will be snow, sleet, and plain cold rain across Baltimore County. The Inner Harbor and downtown are expected to see the least amount of snow, while the northern parts of the city are likely to receive at least a coating.
Eventually, the snow and sleet will change over to a rain in many Baltimore metro neighborhoods. The farther north and northwest you go, the longer it will take for the snow to change over to a cold rain.
