Chris Eubank Jr is selling his 2018 Red McLaren 720S for a jaw-dropping £525,000.
It comes just weeks after the Brit suffered an agonising defeat at the hands of long-time rival Conor Benn. The pair traded leather for a second time last month, seven months on from their epic back-and-forth middleweight dust-up. On that night in April, it was Eubank Jr who scored a razor-thin decision win in north London.
However, he could not replicate his success at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the sequel after suffering a decision defeat to the ‘Destroyer’ – seemingly settling their rivalry once and for all. Reports suggest that Eubank Jr pocketed around £10million for his rematch with Benn.
Over the years, Eubank Jr has been no stranger to showing off his rather lavish lifestyle, which includes luxurious holidays and splashing out on rather expensive cars. Now, boxing fans can own a motor that belonged to ‘Next Gen.’ The eye-catching Red McLaren 720S – which has been listed on UK automotive marketplace Autotrader – will cost potential buyers a messily £525,000.

Rory Reid, YouTube Director at Autotrader, said: “This Mansory McLaren is exactly the kind of head-turning, one-off celebrity car buyers love to see on the platform. It’s a genuine champion of the road, complete with the ultimate boxing plate. It won’t be long before someone lands this once in a lifetime purchase.”
The sumptuous car, finished in a ‘Volcano Red’ candy paint, is paired with full forged carbon fibre widebody. Inside the motor is where it gets its shine, truly delivering a knockout blow, leaving many stunned. The red-tinted carbon fibre, red Alcantara, and crisp white stitching deliver a tailor-made interior that hits just as hard as a right hand from Eubank Jr himself. But the biggest and most unique selling point of it, the McLaren 720S comes with the ultra-exclusive plate “1 KO.” This listing is a perfect opportunity to truly feel connected with one of the country’s finest boxers.
Just weeks after losing to Eubank Jr back in April, Benn purchased a brand new Rolls-Royce – believed to be worth almost £300,000. The ‘Destroyer,’ like his bitter rival, has been accustomed to splurging on cash and is well-known for spending significant sums on luxury cars.

Ahead of fight night back in April, Eubank Jr was hit with a £375,000 fine after failing to make weight for his clash with Benn. The son of boxing legend Nigel Benn has rather cheekily admitted he used the money to purchase the Rolls-Royce. As the pair met once again just days before their rematch last month, Benn could not resist a pop at his adversary.
“Looking well,” Benn said. “Bit slim around the cheekbones. I’m slightly hoping you miss weight again, just a little bit. Just a pound. Just a little bit. That would be nice. Nice little gift from you last time. I’m hoping you’re well recovered. Have you got 10 toes? 10 toenails?” Benn’s comment about Eubank Jr’s toenails referred to the latter’s claim that one of his toenails fell off due to severe dehydration before their first fight.
In the end, Eubank Jr fell short in his quest to go two-up against Benn, but revealed after the fight that he had serious issues leading up to the clash. “I’ve been through hell and back to make it here,” he said. “I genuinely thought that regardless of the issues that I have been dealing with, I would be able to go in there and win, use my boxing skills and use what I used in the first fight to beat Conor Benn. From that first round, I realised that I was mistaken, but it’s OK. I’m a fighter and this is what I do. Regardless of the dangers and the risk, we go to war and that’s what we do.

“I tried my best. Conor Benn put on a hell of a fight, he had a great performance and did everything that was asked of him. I congratulate him for his performance.” Eubank Jr was invited on more than one occasion to detail what he had been through, but declined. Asked if he might retire, he added: “We’re not talking about that right now.
“This is not about me. This night is about Conor. He did what he needed to do to win and he fought a great fight. You guys saw what I was in there tonight. Yeah, I thought once those bright lights hit and that round went, that I’d find something and I tried. I tried hard, but it wasn’t there and Conor was strong, was fast and he was tough. Yeah, congratulations to him.”
