Spotify has teased Wrapped in a social media video on X that shows the company’s logo in the style of various popular artists this year. According to Forbes, fans say those artists include Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and more.
The actual day Wrapped drops is still a mystery, however. Spotify only says “coming soon” on social media.

When does Spotify Wrapped 2025 come out?
While Spotify hasn’t announced the date Wrapped comes out, past release dates suggest it could be the first week of December. Here are the release dates over the past few years:
- Spotify Wrapped 2024 came out Dec. 4.
- In 2023, Spotify Wrapped released on Nov. 29.
- In 2022, Spotify Wrapped released Nov. 30.
- In 2021 and 2020 Spotify Wrapped released Dec. 1.
Ahead of Wrapped, Spotify has introduced weekly listening stats that give users a snapshot of their recent streaming habits, essentially serving as a mini version of the annual feature.
When does Spotify Wrapped start tracking?
In 2024, an online rumor that Spotify stopped tracking for Wrapped on Halloween prompted the streaming service to a post graphic of a jack-o’-lantern on X with a message reading, “Spotify Wrapped doesn’t stop counting on October 31st.”
However, the post didn’t state when the service stops tracking to create users’ personalized Wrapped package.
Spotify will begin collecting data for next year’s Wrapped on Jan. 1, 2026.
