The I’m A Celebrity campmates were left rejoicing when Shona McGarty won eight stars in the latest Bushtucker Trial, but ITV viewers were far from impressed.
On Tuesday’s (December 2) episode, hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly introduced a new ‘Walk The Plank’ challenge, in which the EastEnders star had to walk across a sky-high plank and collect up to nine stars.
While Jack Osbourne and Aitch were also keen to tackle the challenge, Shona was ultimately chosen and won eight meals for the group.
But as she completed the obstacle course, fans at home were quick to slam the task for being ‘too easy,’ with many claiming this year’s celebrities have had it easy compared to past groups.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one quipped: “Why’ve they made the challenges so easy this year in comparison to past seasons? #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity.”
A second agreed: ” Trials have been easy as feck this year, the only difficult one was Jack in the tanks #imaceleb,” while a third begged: “Bring back the trials where they all starve and argue as a result next year #ImACeleb.”
Yet another unimpressed viewer chimed in with: “Tbf, this trial seems quite easy as she’s got the harness on #ImACeleb,” while a fifth demanded: “Bring back secret agent missions. Bring back more dingo dollar challenges. Bring back feeding the emus as a job role. Bring back proper care package tasks #ImACeleb.”
And a final critic voiced: “This show has gone too soft, no doubt it will be even easier next year as well #imaceleb.”

However, some viewers celebrated the actress’ effort. “Shona SMASHING THIS TRIAL – LIKE ALL THE WOMEN! #ImaCeleb,” shared one, while another raved: “Shona for more trials please!! #ImACeleb.”
Just last night, viewers saw Irish star Vogue Williams being booted out of the camp after 13 days. Upon her exit, the 40-year-old confessed that it “feels good” to be out of the jungle.
“It was getting really hard and I’m so hungry! But, it’s such a weird thing because you kind of want to stay as well,” she added.
“It’s so fun in there, you’re just doing so many random things, everyone is such good fun and I’ll be sad to leave.”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is available to stream on ITVX.
