We finally have a meaningful home game in the Joel as the Deacs are set to take on the Oklahoma Sooners in the ACC-SEC Challenge. The Sooners are led by a familiar name in Nijel Pack, who someone still has eligibility remaining and is averaging 19.3 points per game this season. The Sooners have been very good on offense this season, averaging nearly 90 points per game with a 55% effective field goal percentage. Wake Forest is 0-2 this season against offenses in the top 35 of KenPom—Oklahoma currently sits at 31st. I doubt this will remain a Quad 3 game at the end of the season, but for now, the Deacs probably need to win this one to avoid a Q3 home loss on the resume. A win will also help flip the ACC narrative against the SEC.
