Winter driving safety tips for Bucks County roads
Winter driving can be hazardous, here are a few tips to help you survive the winter driving season in Bucks County.
The first snow accumulations of the winter are expected to hit Bucks County on Tuesday morning, and with it could come the first snow delays of the 2025-2026 school year for local districts.
Rain and snow has begun in a few places this morning. “Precipitation along the I-95 corridor may start off as a light snow/mix, but quickly change over to rain this morning,” according to the National Weather Service
Up to 3 inches of snow and sleet will impact commutes as the winter weather comes to Bucks County after 4 a.m. before turning to rain in the late morning, according to the National Weather Service. By Tuesday morning, the NWS had adjusted totals to slightly less.
School districts in and around Bucks County handle winter weather differently, but hazardous road conditions could cause delayed openings, switches to remote and asynchronous learning or close schools altogether.
