Inside L’Oréal’s 20th-Anniversary Women of Worth Gala

Mirren opened the presentations with a toast to two decades of impact. “I’m so honored to welcome you to the 20th Women of Worth celebration,” she said. “What a milestone to be here tonight, honoring not only our 2025 L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth, but the 190 extraordinary women who’ve come before them. Honestly, this program has been one of the great privileges of my years with L’Oréal. When I first joined this family, I knew the phrase ‘Because you’re worth it,’ because it is an empowering message to women everywhere, but through Women of Worth, that message has taken on much deeper meaning for me…. Each year, I’m struck anew by…the leadership they show, the compassion they extend to the communities they build…It is, quite honestly, revelatory.”
L’Oréal Paris USA president Laura Branik followed, noting that celebrating 20 years of the program “reminds us that honoring women’s contributions, resourcing their visions, and shining a national spotlight on their courage can truly change the world.”
As the crowd tucked into a dinner of little gem salad, tortellini with sage and squash, sea bass, and filet mignon, Aja Naomi King, Kris Jenner, Sophia Bush, Ariana Greenblatt, Anderson, MacDowell, and Klum introduced this year’s honorees. Among them: Yasmine Arrington Brooks, who provides scholarships and support for children of incarcerated parents through ScholarCHIPS; Amy Bowers Cordalis, whose Ridges to Riffles Indigenous Conservation Group protects Indigenous land and water; Dr. Anita Ravi, who’s creating, through PurpLE Health Foundation, a new field of care for women who have experienced gender-based violence; and Cristina Rodriguez, who’s using music for connection through Mind&Melody.
Also honored: Gloria Umanah (Hope Booth, making mental health support accessible 24/7), Keely Cat-Wells (Making Space, empowering disabled professionals), Lynne B. Hughes (Comfort Zone Camp, offering bereavement support for children), Mizpah Brown-Rich (Joshua’s Gift, supporting families affected by autism), Olivia Zhang (Cancer Kids First, creating community for pediatric cancer patients), and Sloane Davidson (Hello Neighbor, transforming refugee and immigrant lives).
