While Anders wasn’t planning to make a movie, it was only after his mother read the finished draft and convinced him that the draft turned into a film script.

Goodbye June will hit select theaters in the United States and the United Kingdom on December 12, 2025. Following a limited theatrical release, the film will stream globally on Netflix starting December 24, 2025, just in time for the Christmas season.
