Tzimas signed after the 7-0 but never doubted his big Albion decision

Stefanos Tzimas signed for Albion straight after seeing them lose 7-0 at Nottingham Forest.
But the Greek striker never had any doubts over his big decision.
Tzimas opened his account in the Premier League as the Seagulls atoned for that hammering with a 2-0 success at the City Ground.

His late finish added to Max De Cuyper’s opener and sparked huge celebrations in the away end.
Tzimas signed for the club at the end of the mid-season transfer window but remained on loan at Nuremburg in the German second tier.
With reference to the 7-0, he said: “We talked a lot about this game and we came here to win. We showed our character.
“I think I signed exactly after that game or the day after, something like this.
“Was I discouraged? No, of course not. It was Brighton. It was and is the best option for me because the most important for me is to develop and I am in the right environment.”

Tzimas said he has had to handle an increase in physicality both in terms of strength and the amount of running he is told to do.
He added: “Trust me, it’s a lot of difference. And especially from Greece because Germany was much better than Greece about physicality, and now here is different again. It is a huge difference.
“I don’t know how to express my feelings. It was a big moment for me and also I had an injury in the summer, I worked hard for this, and now I feel like a very good end.”

The 19-year-old has previously scored twice in the Carabao Cuo but this was a huge moment for him in the big league.
He said: “My first goal in Premier League. I’m really happy for this. Premier League was my dream and now to score a goal doesn’t feel real.

“We have to be ready for the difficult period.
“My time is really nice. I’m settling very well here. My team-mates help me a lot to adapt.
“But I think the most difficult is the physical aspect.
“I think right now, I feel good. I’m really enjoying being here.”
