National Signing Day Tracker: All focus is on Amari Latimer now…

It’s officially National Signing Day, which was bumped up two weeks in college football this season, and the Wisconsin Badgers are looking to sign their current 2026 class, which has seen quite a few twists so far this year.

The Badgers have had a lot of de-commits, as well as some big misses on key targets, but they’ve also hit on certain recruits down the stretch and are very much in play for some other targets on National Signing Day.

Stay tuned for our full tracker on the signees and what’s to come for Wisconsin. Head coach Luke Fickell is expected to speak with the media around 1:00 p.m. today.

1:30 P.M. – Last one we’re waiting for is Amari Latimer. Been an up and down day for everyone checking our comments. Wisconsin is battling here, with Miami and West Virginia both looking to flip him. As of late, it’s been more of the latter. Going to be tight, but obviously the more it drags out, the more you worry.

Would be a huge loss if Wisconsin can’t lock him up, given they went all-in on a running back for the 2nd straight year and missed then.

11:00 A.M. – Three-star quarterback Ryan Hopkins has signed with the Badgers. He’s the 12th commit to sign and locks up the quarterback position in the 2026 cycle. Good on Wisconsin to keep this commitment firm throughout the Fall.

9:45 A.M. – Three-star tight end Jack Sievers has signed with the Badgers. He’s got elite, elite speed at tight end and hails from the state of Washington. Was a nice eval and pickup for Wisconsin this summer. Will be the only tight end signing with Jack Janda now a defensive lineman and flipping to Iowa.

9:30 A.M. – Three-star cornerback Donovan Dunmore has signed with the Badgers. The California native was a flip this Fall from Oregon State, as Wisconsin needed a second cornerback after missing out on a few targets. His track background was especially appealing, in addition to his size and length.

8:15 A.M. – Three-star edge/defensive lineman Yahya Gaad has signed with the Badgers. Wisconsin worked to flip the 6’5, 260-pounder late in the class after a decommitment from UCLA, getting the Tennessee native after losing a commit.

8:00 A.M. – Three-star linebacker Ben Wenzel has signed with the Badgers. He’s the lone Wisconsin native in the class and also the lone inside linebacker currently committed. He’s considered the No. 7 player in the state of Wisconsin, according to 247Sports.

7:45 A.M. – Three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah has signed with the Badgers. This was a big-time early evaluation from Wisconsin’s staff and a great pickup during the first weekend of official visits. But, Bah flirted with other programs during the Fall, and things even looked bleak at one point before he reaffirmed his commitment to Wisconsin. Now, he’s a certified Badger.

7:30 A.M. – Four-star wide receiver Zion Legree has signed with the Badgers. Legree was a great get during the summer for the Badgers after decommitting from Ole Miss. A connection with wide receivers coach Jordan Reid from 2023 played a big factor, and Wisconsin got a top talent in the class.

7:45 A.M. – Four-star offensive lineman Brady Bekkenhuis has signed with the Badgers. Flipping from Boston College last weekend, he is currently the only offensive lineman committed to Wisconsin in the 2026 class.

7:00 A.M. – The latest addition to Wisconsin’s 2026 class, three-star wide receiver Keeyshawn Tabuteau, has signed with the Badgers. This was an under-the-radar move from the Badgers, surprising many with a quiet recruitment and flipping from Vanderbilt, an in-state school, earlier this week.

6:45 A.M. – Recently committed three-star running back Qwantavius Wiggins has signed. This was a very nice late get for the Badgers, giving them a potential 1-2 punch in the class at the position. Wisconsin had flipped him from FIU and maintained his pledge through signing day.

6:30 A.M. – Three-star cornerback Carsen Eloms is the second player in the 2026 class to sign for the Badgers. Eloms committed to Wisconsin in April and has been the No. 1 cornerback in their class since.

6:15 A.M. Three-star defensive lineman Arthur Scott is the first Badger to sign in the 2026 class. The Ohio native committed to Wisconsin during an official visit in the summer and hasn’t wavered from that during the Fall.
