Sharon Osbourne marked a somber occasion.
The Osbournes alum made a rare return to social media to celebrate what would have been her late husband Ozzy Osbourne’s 77th birthday, the first since his death on July 22 following a battle with Parkinson’s disease.
“My darling husband,” Sharon wrote alongside video of Ozzy’s memorial in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on Instagram Dec. 3. “I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side.”
The memorial—created at the Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench on Broad Street in honor of the Black Sabbath rocker—features fan messages, and images of Ozzy.
It’s where Kelly Osbourne, too, decided to mark her father’s birthday laying out a floral arrangement that spelled “Ozzy” from her and her siblings Louis, Aimee, and Jack.
“Happy birthday daddy you most certainly did not die an ordinary man!,” Kelly wrote alongside the Dec. 3 Instagram Reel. “Life without you is hard but not a day goes by that I don’t dedicate my life to loving you and your legacy! I miss you more than anything in the world. I love you until eternity! What I would not give to watch you blow out just one more candle.”
