Supersonic Festival announce 2026 return with Arab rockers PROSTITUTE to play

Supersonic Festival, one of Birmingham’s premier experimental music and arts festivals, is returning for another edition in 2026. This year, however, in addition to being earlier in the year, the festival will also be a special, limited-edition event, with fewer tickets available and a more intimate atmosphere awaiting attendees.
The announcement has also revealed experimental post-punk and Arab rock band PROSTITUTE as the first act on the bill, with the full lineup to follow in the coming months.

Since its inception in 2003, Supersonic Festival has firmly established itself as one of the UK’s premier experimental music and arts festivals. With an undeniably vibrant atmosphere, always presenting a variety of performers – the inaugural event featured the bewildering blend of Coil, DJ Food, LCD Soundsystem, The Bug and more – and where the film programme, workshops and exhibitions are as paramount to the event’s atmosphere as the live performances.
“The most consistently brilliant and forward-looking festival in the UK, if not the world” – Vice Magazine
“The care and community at this independent festival of outer-reaches sounds is evident in every single detail” – The Guardian
