Beach hazards statement issued for Northern California Wednesday night

On Wednesday at 9:39 p.m. a beach hazards statement was issued by the NWS San Francisco CA in effect until 10 p.m. The statement is for Northern Monterey Bay and Big Sur as well as San Francisco County.
“Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected,” says the NWS. “If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.”
This statement is in effect until 10 p.m.
