Mystery player wins overnight Lotto jackpot of over €6 million

The location where the winning ticket of last night’s draw was sold will be revealed on Friday.
The winning numbers were 4, 21, 23, 27, 34 and 38 with the bonus number 37.
The winner, who has not yet come forward, will collect their jackpot of €6,241,505 once identified.
It is the second big win in Westmeath this week alone after another player won a the prize of a monthly payout of €2,000 for five years.
Over 63,000 people won prizes in the latest draw, with the second-largest sum of €122,669 won by a player in Cork who matched five numbers and the bonus. Their Quick Pick ticket was bought on Tuesday from Broderick’s Shop, Shanagarry Cross in Shanagarry, Midleton.
There were 14 other players who won €1,612 each by matching five numbers, while 28 won €203 each by matching four numbers along with the bonus number.

National Lottery spokesperson, Darragh O’Dwyer, said Lotto HQ is celebrating what has been an immensely successful year to date.
“Add to that, Sunday’s Daily Million top prize win of €1 million in Cavan, makes this an extraordinary week of big wins for our players. In total, the National Lottery has created 26 millionaires so far this year”.
If players suspect that they have won one of the big prizes announced this morning, the National Lottery is urging them to come forward.
If you bought a ticket in-store, consult the National Lottery app by scanning your ticket. You can also return to the shop you bought the ticket in, and they can scan it for you.
If you purchased your ticket online and wish to claim a prize of over €10,000, you must contact the National Lottery Claims Department on 1800 666 222 between 9:15am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Winnings of between €100 and €500 will be transferred as an e-payment back to the card linked to your account.
