A major incident has been declared and 200 homes evacuated after two men were arrested on suspicion of explosives offences in Derby.
Derbyshire Police carried out a warrant at a property in Vulcan Street, acting on intelligence about materials at the address.
Two men, one in his 40s and another in his 50s, have been arrested and remain in police custody.
Police say there is no wider risk to the public, and that they are not treating this as a terrorism incident.
They said evacuations are a precaution to ensure the safety of people living in the area.
Properties on the following streets have been evacuated:

Harrington Street – from Holcombe Street to Vulcan Street

Cambridge Street – at Reeves Road and Shaftesbury Crescent
Evacuated residents have been told to prepare to be out of their homes for 24 hours.
A rest centre, run by Derby City Council, has been set up at the Salvation Army on Osmaston Road.
Police have asked anyone who has been evacuated to make contact with them using Facebook messenger through the main Derbyshire Constabulary page.
