Lots of new features are coming to Call of Duty Warzone, as the game gets Black Ops 7 integration.

Call of Duty Warzone fans are counting down to the start of the new season, which kicks off in just a few hours.
The new Call of Duty Warzone season adds a new Resurgence map, not to mention a series of limited-time events, gameplay tweaks and lots more.
There’s also a new Battle Pass, featuring 1,100 COD Points, 11 Operator Skins, 26 Blueprints and Weapons for a total of 119 rewards.

Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 release date and release time
The new Call of Duty season has a December 4 release date for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
In terms of a release time, it’s good news for UK fans, who will be able to play once they get home from work and school.
Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 has a 5pm GMT UK release time. That’s 9am PDT / 12pm EDT for fans living in the US and 6pm CET for European players.

Warzone Season 1 new map and new features
The highlight of the new Warzone season is the release of a new Resurgence map, titled Haven’s Hollow. The map is said to be tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains and “replete with old school American charm”.
Points of interest include a Coal Depot, Lumbermill, a Riverboat, Research Centre, Mansion and Train Station.
Verdansk will also get some new points of interest to explore, such as the Signal Station, which is said to feature an interactive element that rewards worthy squads with a view of their enemies. That’s on top of a remastered Factory, which returns after making its first appearance in Verdansk ’84.
Movement will undergo some of the biggest changes to bring Warzone in line with Black Ops 7.
Base sprint speeds have been increased, while Tactical Sprint is removed as a core ability and is now available via the Sprinter Perk.
Elsewhere, equipping the Mountaineer Perk will add the Combat Roll to your movement abilities.
Finally, fans can expect a different limited-time game mode each weekend, beginning with Buyback Battle Royale, followed by Amped Battle Royale, which is an experimental mode that increases base health.

After a Christmas break, Activision will return with Ultra Fast Resurgence.
