Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) questionable for Thursday night showdown with Cowboys

Detroit (7-5) has lost two of three and sits at No. 8 in the NFC playoff seedings, just a spot ahead of the Cowboys (6-5-1) at No. 9. Dallas, though, won on Thanksgiving against the Kansas City Chiefs and is riding a three-game winning streak into Thursday.

Going into the prime-time showdown without St. Brown would be a massive hit for the Lions, even more so considering the Jared Goff-led offense is already operating without tight end Sam LaPorta, who’s on injured reserve due to a back injury.

Should St. Brown be inactive, Jameson Williams (38/706/6) would assume the WR1 role. Detroit will also be without wide receiver Kalif Raymond, who’s caught just 15 balls this year, but that puts him statistically as the team’s No. 3 WR. Thusly, the opportunity could be there for rookie Isaac TeSlaa to make a leap.

The Cowboys and Lions kick off Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET.
