Weather warning issued for Waterford

Waterford City and County Council has issued a weather warning for Waterford, on behalf of Met Éireann.

The ‘Yellow’ level warning relates to impending high winds which are expected to hit the county tomorrow, Friday, December 5.

In the weather alert warning message from from Met Eireann it said strong and gusty southeasterly winds could potentially make travelling difficult in addition to causing debris concerns around loose objects.

The warning will be in place from 11am to 5pm  on Friday, December 5.

In addition to Waterford other counties for which the warning will come into effect are Wexford and Wicklow.
