That’s very Pillion, in which Skarsgård plays Ray—a leather-clad biker-dom who pulls a small, awkward Bromley boy into his orbit. And while the movie is darkly funny and surprisingly sweet, it’s also very explicit about the subcultures it draws from. It makes sense, then, that its lead actor’s real-life wardrobe has followed suit.
Skarsgård’s sneakers added another kinky wink. While these may look like a classic pair of black Adidas GT II Handballs at first glance, they’re actually a collab with Viagra Boys—a Swedish punk band known for being loud, sweaty, and unfiltered. Released at the end of last month, these sold out seconds after they dropped. But what makes The Northman star’s pair even sicker is that it was actually the “Friends & Family” edition made exclusively for Viagra Boys’s inner circle (you can tell by the neon green stripes). We see you, Skarsgård.
Most actors show up to press tours in tasteful suits and “quiet luxury” coats. Alexander Skarsgård, on the other hand? He’s out here dressing like the world’s tallest art school menace, and it’s making the Pillion rollout infinitely more fun.
